Our previous project trips have all had a goal of helping the vulnerable in society – and over $250,000 has been raised for Compassion Canada and International Justice Mission and their work especially for children and the vulnerable living in poverty. This trip will continue that by supporting International Justice Mission in their work to fight human trafficking. According to IJM, nearly 2 million people are enslaved in Europe; a source, transit and destination region for trafficking people in vulnerable circumstances into labor and sexual exploitation. Many in Europe have fallen victim to trafficking in persons due to a fragmented, individualized criminal justice response. Traffickers profit from the trade of humans with relative impunity as law enforcement across the region struggle to unify efforts to combat trafficking across borders. Alongside our partners, IJM has launched an anti-trafficking program with the aim of building a cohesive, cross border regional response. The long term goal of the program is to protect 12 million people who would be vulnerable to trafficking from Romania, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria. Participants will board one of Sail Croatia’s ships at Split on Monday, September 21st, 2026 for a week of cycling and exploring five islands along the Dalmatian coastline before ending the trip in Dubrovnik. This one way route heads south from Split, taking in the islands of Solta, Brac, Hvar, Vis, Korcula and Mljet, before finishing in the medieval city of Dubrovnik. They’ll cycle a total of 155km with daily ascents/descents averaging 356M. Each participant is making a significant donation to IJM and they welcome family and friends to consider partnering with them to support this cause. See the donation link below.

International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global organization that protects people in poverty from violence. We partner with local authorities and justice systems in 33 program offices across 19 countries to build safe communities where all are protected from trafficking and slavery, violence against women and children, and police abuse of power. We aim to cut violence by 85% across 25 nations by 2030. Together, we strengthen justice systems to respond to violence and create lasting safety. Until All Are Free.
